Background

Founded in 1949, The University of San Diego (USD) is a private Roman Catholic university in San Dieogo, California. The university offers 42 baccalaureate degrees, and several degrees in law, nursing, (master, PhD, and DNP), and other doctoral programs. The university comprises seven different academic colleges.

Academics

USD offers more than 60 degrees at the bachelor’s with wide assortment of majors and minors,  master’s with many areas of specialization, several certificate programs,  and doctoral levels. USD has nine colleges and schools. The Joan B. Kron School of Piece Studies is the newest  school , and the College of Arts and Sciences and the School of Law are the oldest academic divisions of university. Hahn School of Nursing and Health Science is highly reputed nursing school in San Diego as well as nationally.  USD provides an honors program at the undergraduate level, with approximately 300 students enrolled annually.
